Sven Ebbinghaus from MAR Süd recently spoke at the Schneider Electric Innovation Days Alliance Forum 2024 in Cologne about the highly topical subject of cyber security:
Cyberattacks are increasingly focussing on individuals rather than companies as a whole.
- All companies, regardless of their size, are potentially at risk and should be prepared accordingly.
- Protective measures include standards such as IEC62443, ISO 27001, the forthcoming NIS 2 regulation and the KRITIS umbrella law.
- Although the NIS 2 regulation is not yet in force, it is advisable to find out about it at an early stage.
- The Defence in Depth (DiD) strategy is becoming increasingly important, especially as companies scale their networks, systems and resources.
