We realise customer-specific complete solutions and offer a product- and manufacturer-neutral design as far as the software and hardware to be used are concerned. We predominantly rely on flexible PLC-based control systems, which can be supplemented by powerful control systems with comprehensive operating, machine and fault data acquisition if required.

Our range of services is rounded off by integrated, project-specific low-voltage switchgear as well as assembly, installation, commissioning and service.

Process control systems

• Process control systems have become an integral part of modern and efficient production.

• We tailor them individually and precisely to your requirements on the basis of future-proof standards.

• When using the necessary hardware and software, we take into account both industry-specific requirements and special conditions for system expansions and modernisation measures.

• Process visualisations support you in the complete operation and monitoring of the entire system. All important information (operating data, recipes, fault messages, etc.) is available online and can be parameterised or archived as required.

• Special database connections for recording even very large amounts of data in real time create the prerequisites for realising complex interactive online production management systems.

Programmable logic controllers (PLC)

We develop the vast majority of our automation solutions on the basis of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) available on the market from various manufacturers. Such systems are largely “open”, thus guaranteeing a high level of investment security and are cost-effective in terms of implementation, maintenance and administration.

However, due to their specific nature (e.g. performance problems), certain applications can often only be realised using high-level language or database programming. Programmes developed by MAR are the result of many years of experience and innovation to meet your specific requirements.

Assembly and installation

If you wish, we can also realise the assembly/installation of both the hardware supplied by us on a project-specific basis and the hardware provided by the customer. Depending on the type, scope and location, we make use of the support of reliable partners who specialise in carrying out such services.

Commissioning and services

The commissioning of the hardware and software supplied by us is an integral part of the projects. Our customers operate internationally. Over the years, our technicians and engineers have therefore been deployed worldwide as a matter of course. We start with the commissioning work even before delivery. Detailed test plans agreed with the customer in our workshops ensure that we can concentrate fully on the process-relevant settings, optimisations and acceptance tests on site. This saves costs and ensures a high level of operational reliability. All process, machine and plant control systems supplied by MAR have the technical requirements for remote maintenance via the Internet. This is now standard and a basic requirement for high availability with greatly reduced downtimes.
